VSTS Tools for Eclipse
Welcome everyone, to the VSTS Tools for Eclipse workspace. The VSTS Eclipse project aims to provide full access to the powerful services offered by Microsoft's Team Foundation Server from an Open Source (Apache 2.0) licensed plugin to Eclipse. Team Foundation Server is the server part of Micrsoft Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) providing features such as Source Control and Work Item Tracking. The VSTS Eclipse plugin will be a 100% Java client working cross-platform. We have a long way to go before we have a working product. In the meantime we invite everyone to get involved, and to provide input / feedback via the forums.
Our first milestone will be to get our initial requirements detailed, carry out a technical proof of concept and invite everyone to comment.
If you require an integration between the Eclipse IDE and Team Foundation Server (TFS), then there is a commercial company called Teamprise offering such a solution. They have a fully functional evaluation version that you can download immediately.
